Creating Memories that Last Forever

Bat Blima is a non-profit organization in which collects bat mitzvah dresses for young girls who cannot afford them. As a gemach, we take pride in our thirty day loaning rule and are willing to make accommodations.

This organization began with a young girl and her grandmother, Blima Abbo. Mrs. Abbo grew up in a low income household belonging to two Jewish, Polish refugees. That being said, she did not have the chance to have a proper bat mitzvah. When Mrs. Abbo passed away, Marcela Homsany, her grand daughter was determined to honor her memory. Thus, Bat Blima was born and continuous to strive day on day.
